What is Raster/Bitmap Graphics?

Unlike Vector graphics, Raster graphics are bitmap based images which gets easily pixelated on resizing. You can easily convert Vector objects in Raster Graphics. Raster Graphics allows maximized compression and supported file formats for Raster Graphics are JPG(Joint Photographic Group), PNG(Portable Network Graphic), BMP(Bitmap Images), GIF(Graphics Interchange Format), etc. One of most popular raster based software is Adobe Photoshop but it also store Vector graphics as Vector Objects.
