Perspectives in art & it's importance?

Perspective in art is defined as the lines which create an illusion of 3 Dimensional or 2 Dimensional surface. Two of the key objectives of creating perspective are to know the distance & depth of any object from it viewing point. In Ancient time, countries in Western Europe, India & China, concept of perspective were used to depict the viewport of any infrastructures or monuments. Best examples of perspectives can be seen in computer graphics such as CAD or 3D Softwares or from source of Superheroes Comic Book, artist tend to used perspectives(One-Point, Two-Point, Three-Point) for giving realism.

There are Perspective aspects as follows:

The point from where the artist is viewing is known as Viewpoint of Perspective. Viewpoint might varies with the height(Low or HIgh Viewpoint) from where things are looked.

Horizon Line is an imaginary line which divides the earth from the sky. Without Horizon Line, you can't describe the Perspective point.

Vanishing point is an assumed point from where two parallel lines meet each other. It can be defined starting or ending point. In Arts, Vanishing point is used in Perspective concept of Camera calibration or 3D Constructions.

There are six defined perspectives :

One Point Perspective

Two Point Perspective

Three Point Perspective

Four Point Perspective

Zero Point Perspective

Let's discuss some of the perspective types:

1. One Point Perspective : When two lines are drawn from one vanishing point on the horizon line is known as One Point Perspective. One of the common example is rail tracks from a distant.

2. Two Point Perspective : When four lines are drawn from two vanishing points on the horizon line is known as Two Point Perspective. When is looking a building from corner which ends at a distant is a good example.

3. Three Point Perspective :  When six lines are drawn, two vanishing points from the horizon line and one vanishing point (above or below) from the horizon line. When you look an object from the top side or bottom side will be a better example of Three Perspective.
